Nearly 50 people sat in a circle in silence in Jodrell Bank’s Discovery Centre on Sunday to experience the last performance of the sufi-inspired Silsila. Live data feeds from stellar events including cosmic background noise, pulsars and light from galaxy clusters combined with the voice of qawwali singer Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, created a hypnotic and mesmerizing installation.
